Mykola’s condition is one of the most difficult in the department of hematology. Doctors are unhappy with his test results today, and they had to postpone the next chemotherapy. It is a risky decision because the chemotherapy must follow the prescribed protocol. Mykola’s doctor believes that by Thursday the tests results will be better. Mykola’s mother is praying God to provide the money that she needs to buy the drugs for the chemotherapy because without them it is impossible to continue the treatment.
“Clean Water to Children’s Hospitals” in the Department of Hematology

As we have already told you, the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” together with Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace and the company “Barrier” renewed the project “Clean Water to Children’s Hospitals”. Recently our volunteers visited the department of hematology in Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s Hospital and donated water filters “Barrier”. Three stationary filters were connected to the water pipes, and five filter jugs were put in places with public access such as cafeterias, playrooms, and nurses rooms.

On Monday our volunteers met with the healthcare workers at the department of hematology at Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s Hospital. We brought to the hospital 50 new pillowcases for pillows that will be used by the little patients. We received this gift from our good friends and volunteers Mikola Ivaskiv and Maria that live in Portugal. It is wonderful to know that Ukrainians who live outside Ukraine care about our children and try to address their problems and needs.

Michael is Waiting for Some Testing in Hungary

Thursday, September 6, Michael returned to the hospital ward from home, and again the hospital life began again. On Friday, he had MRI and on Monday, the boy should have a painful and unpleasand procedure: puncture of the chest wall that will provide the material for further analysis. When the test results are ready, Michael’s grandmother will have to take them to OHMADYT in Kiev. There, the doctors should decide what the further treatment will be like. The boy’s doctor insists on the testing in Hungary. All the necessary documents are ready, only one thing is missing: the money.

Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
