This week, the art studio in the Department of Hematology in the Regional Children’s Hospital received new craft materials. We are grateful for that to Yaroslava, our colleague from Chicago. It was fun for the children to draw, to color, and to make cards. Some kids learned how to do origami. The process is very interesting, but unfortunately, the result is not always what is anticipated. As always during the work, the atmosphere was filled with joy: children were singing songs and reciting poems that they have learned at school. All the participants received one issue of kids’ magazine “Zerniatko” and a coloring book.
Kids need medication!

Two our kids Deliar Vlad and Gotlib Tatiana need urgent help. Deliar Vlad used to be an energetic boy. Now he is battling with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. At this time, he needs expensive medication: methotrexate. The cost of the drug is 5632 grivnas ($704). Relatives and friends try to support the boy as much as they can, but unfortunately their contributions are not enough. That is why we are turning to all the people who care: please chip in to help Vlad to pay for this expensive chemotherapy session!
Children from Ivano-Frankivsk Shelter received shoes and clothes

The volunteers of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” visited the children from Ivano-Frankivsk Shelter again. We did not expect the visit to be so warm. When the kids saw us, they rushed to hug and kiss us. It is difficult to express the feeling when you stand next to the kids and you understand that they need you, and yet just very short time ago you did not know they exist. We did not just come to visit; we came as friends. We unpacked together the boxes with clothes and shoes. Kids tried everything on, put aside what was good for them, and passed on other clothes.
Gift to the children's hospital

Volunteers from the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” donated 30 kids’ sheets and pillowcases sets that will replace the old ones. “This is the second time “Ty Anhel” donates bed linen to the regional hospital. Our plans are to substitute old spring beds with new wooden beds. The conditions in which our young patients are treated do not meet yet the desirable standards.

On March 26, representatives of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” visited Dolyna Orphanage “Warm Home”. During the meeting with the principal of the orphanage, the options of the future collaboration were discussed. The most desirable and valuable was the meeting with the children. The foundation donated to the children toys, clothes, shoes, socks, and chocolate. Everybody was glad to receive gifts and the meeting was full of positive emotions.

Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
