Charitable Foundation “Ty Anhel” is a Winner of the National Competition “Transparent Charity”

February 21, 2013, during the fifth international conference “Charity: accountability, transparency, disclosure” in Kiev the winners of the national competition of charities’ websites “Transparent Charity” were announced. In the competition, the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” won an honorable third place. The award ceremony took place at the conference center of the President Hotel. Our representative in Kiev, Victoria Poliarush, received the award and some souvenirs from the program “Bibliomist”

Dear Friends! The team of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” and Vizitka.com summed up the results of the project “Extend the Holidays to the Children” that took place during the last month. The total amount that we earned is 4 000 UAH, and today the whole amount will be transferred to our foundation’s bank account. We are glad that many people were interested in our project and decided to participate and do good. We are sure that this project can become a good tradition for Vizitka.com and because of that we will be able to provide even more help to the children that need it.

Random Act of Kindness Day is celebrated in the whole world on February 17, and the volunteers of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” celebrated it with their young friends – the children from Ivano-Frankivsk Shelter. We met the children in the playroom. For three hours the shelter turned into a concert hall with lots of music, songs, games, and fun competitions. We learned the sad news from the phone call from the department of hematology: Sviatoslav Klimovich’ heard stopped beating. Eleven months of the courageous battle for the child’s live did not bring the expected results and the boy died. From January 7th to January 19th, Arina underwent one more rehabilitation session at the International Rehabilitation Clinic in Truskavets. Arina’s doctor prescribed Arina the following procedures: massage, wax applications, neurophysiological spine correction, carpal manipulation, joint mobilization, exercise therapy, and others. As a result, Arina’s muscles strength increased and the tone in the right extremities decreased. During the last doctor’s visit, Arina could jump on her right foot twice.

St Nikolas did not forget about the young patients in the departments of hematology and neurology at Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s Hospital on Evghen Konovalets St. It is a common belief that St. Nikolas puts sweet treets under the pillows of those children who behaved during the year, and a whip under the pillows of those who were not so good. All the children in the hospital were very good and St Nikolas with his helpers, the angels, came to them not empty handed. All the children participated in games and fun contests. The children were gladly reciting poems and singing songs. Parents participated as well.

On the eve of the holiday of St Nikolas the Wonderworker in the cold and snowy evening that looked like a fairy tale, volunteers from the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” with St Nikolas the Wonderworker and his helpers, the angels, visited the children at Dolyna Hospital and Vygoda Reabilitation Center. Here everybody was waiting for St Nikolas from the morning. Children were practicing reciting poems and prayers dedicated to their guest. St Nikolas greeted the children and wished the fast recovery to the children in hospital and success and good grades to the children in the rehabilitation center.
December 16, 2012 – Day One. St Nikolas Visits Everyone

From the early age everybody knows about the day of St Nikolas. It is impossible to imagine a childhood without gifts from St Nikolas. While waiting for the holiday, the children recall if they were good the whole year. And all the children want to receive the sweet treats, and not whips that naughty children find under their pillows. This year, like all other years, the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel asked St Nikolas not to give whips to any children, but to create a holiday that the children would remember all year long.

Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
