Unfortunately Pavlo is not getting better. He was released from hospital, but he still needs to return there often. Pavlo and his mom went to Kiev for a consultation, and they were told that the surgery that Pavlo needs is postponed because of Hepatitis C. After administering immunoglobulin, Pavlo felt better for a while, but now his health deteriorated. He has hard time walking because of the severe pain, his blood pressure is either too high or too low, and he is bleeding.

At present Olexiy is in better mood, but he is not feeling better. He is suffering from severe pains all over his body. It is hard for him to walk; the boy does not have energy. Yet he is trying to be optimistic and he believes that things are going to change for better. It is the seventh month of the treatment. All this time Olexiy is following doctors’ recommendations and does everything he cans to fight the disease. Olexiy would love to go to gym, but it is not possible now, and he is exercising at home. In November the foundation “Ty Anhel” received 38,933UAH ($4,867) in donations, and we spent 74,064UAH ($9,258). Children needed our help. For the children from Rogatyn Orphanage we bought flu vaccine. The cost was 6,830UAH ($854). We spent 11,754UAH ($1,469) to pay for rehabilitation sessions in Truskavets for Gudsman twins. We also bought medications for Volodymir Oliynik for 4,775UAH ($597). We bought Peginterferon for several patients who are fighting Hepatitis.

New Play Room at the Department of Hematology

The Department of Hematology at Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s Hospital became cozier. The playroom that is located right next to the entrance to the department has been renovated. It used to be grey and boring, but on Sunday, the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” presented to everybody the new and colorful room. It was our volunteer Julia Liahovich’s idea to make the room more attractive, and many supported her. Students from both Stephanyk University and School of Arts N3 have been working for a week to turn the grey walls into a fairy tale.

The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital.
