School items were given to children

On Saturday, team of our foundation completed successfully the project "There are no money for notebooks”, which specially had been developed and implemented for orphaned children, children with physical and mental disabilities education and training institution. During our visit to our sponsored institution- Rohatyn special school- we gave school items, which children had required and school administration had asked about. Within this project, it was spend 8000UAH and purchased: 3000 notebooks; 40 notebooks templates for first grade; 20 cash letters and numbers.
St Nicolas in Rogatyn

St Nicholas remembers about the orphaned children from Rogatyn from the boarding school. Our young friends happily greeted the special guest and each and every one of them had an opportunity to recite a poem prepared for the saint. St Nicholas was generous this year, and he had a huge variety of gifts: boxes of candy, toys, and school supplies. The children liked the Christmas tree and everybody was happy.

It is good to know that organizations that offer enrichment and extra-curriculum activities help our foundation. Dolyna Youth Art House organizes a philanthropic theatrical performance to support children with serious health conditions. Last year they helped Tatiana Gotlib, and recently they organized an exhibition to support Olexiy Dolishniy that took place during Christmas performance “Miracles of St. Nicholas”. The performance was for the elementary school kids and all the donations were transferred to help Olexiy.
St. Nicholas Day at the Department of Hematology

Yesterday, on St. Nicholas Day, it was a true holiday for the children at the department of hematology as well as for us. It was a joy to see smiles on kids’ pale faces. Remember that we began preparing for the holiday at the beginning of December when the children wrote letters to St. Nicholas during an art therapy class. We passed the letters to a catholic organization “Love and Charity” in Rogatyn. Father Dmytro Bigun agreed with great joy to help the children’s dreams come true.
Olexiy Dolishniy – Improvements Are Noticeable

Last week Olexiy had some medical tests, and today we received the results. Hepatitis C was not found, and it is good, but Hepatitis B is still persistent, and the doctors prescribed Olexiy a lot of new mediations. Olexiy is exhausted from the long treatment, but his desire to be healthy is strong. The team of the charitable foundation Ty Anhel and the boy’s parents are grateful to God and all the people who helped them during the Hepatitis treatment. Olexiy is close to the full recovery. Let’s continue to support the boy to the very end. Thank you for being with us!

Volunteers of our foundation organized one more charitable event. They were selling Christmas ornaments. It was an idea of our art-therapist Ania Maximchiuk. For the last two months, together with the students who major in education she helped the children at the department of hematology to make the ornaments. The charitable fair “With Christmas at Heart” took place in the building of the Teachers’ College. We were selling snowflakes, snowmen, and angels.
Andriy Dovganych Needs Your Help

Andriy Dovganych had two chemotherapy blocks, and they were hard on him. His body is weakened, and he needed additional medications to restore his vitality. Andriy needs to undergo four more chemotherapy blocks. Now he is going through his third one. The family does not have money to pay for the treatment, and you all know that it is costly. We are grateful to our partner from Check Republic, the charitable organization “Center for the Humanitarian Aid”. It helped us to pay for Cytarabine that costs 4,950UAH ($620).

Before the holiday, all the children tried to be their best because the saint promised to bring all they wanted. Twenty children participated at the class. Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
