Dynamics of boys` movements is getting better, Ihor pronounces words more expressively and even begins to speak whole sentences, moreover he can jump actively near the thing, that bears, doing some medicative exercises. Maksym doesn`t remain behind his brother and also gets better. He firmly holds his head and keeps his back straight. Everything would be far better, if only boys didn`t have viral diseases.

A felt. “What is it?” – we asked this question before the beginning of the lesson from art-therapy. No one of us had not worked before with such material, except Tamara Hryhorak, who prepared a great lesson for us. That`s why, this time the lesson for our patients from Ivano-Frankivsk Oncohematology Department and also for volunteers from CF “Ty Anhel” was not only practical, but also had a theoretical part. We got to know that a felt, or how our small Denis called this material – “colorful cotton wool”, is made of sheep wool. This material is very pleasant and tender to the touch.

This time an autumn doesn`t want to bring us much warmth. Cool air reminds us about the coming of winter every day. This reminding obliges us to put shoes on feet of friends` from Ivano-Frankivsk Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation. Insufficient state funding left them unprovided for warm shoes, in which they could go to school or for a walk. Thanks to support of our colleagues and partners from Portugal – NGO “Ukrainian Christian movement in Portugal”, and in particular of director Ivan Onyshchuk, we provided 14 children, that are in difficult life situation and are living in the Centre, with new shoes.

Artem has intensive and serious medical treatment. Recently special equipment was connected to him, to administer medicine in such way, as there are already too many punctured places on his body. Thanks to common effort and effective management we managed to accomplish a number of tasks, that, as usual, were targeted on solving problems connected with children treatment, absence of expensive medicine in children`s Oncohematology Department. During the month the settlement account of the CF “You Angel” was refilled with 17 612,67 UAH, we spent in September 13 048,81 UAH. We bought medicaments on the amount of 7 72502 UAH for Mariana Kruk, our child in ward from Oncohematology Department. Leonov Denis also had need for medicine. The CF “You Angel” paid an ampoule of Filstim at the cost of 566,25 UAH for the boy.

September 30, children from the orphanage “Templiy Dim” went to see Maze Runner at “Chaplin Cinema”. The director of the movie theater Roman Yakimiv let the children watch the movie and provided them with delicious snacks. We have never had such work yet, after what there would be a pair of scissors on the table. All working materials were taken in one moment! Everything began from my meeting with children at the entrance of the department. At my invitation for them to join the work, the question, what we would be doing, was sounded at once. We made bracelets from yellow and blue ribbons. Older girls mastered the technique of weaving bracelets without problems, however it took some time to sit with smaller patients, explain them and turn the process of weaving on a joyful game.

The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
