After chemotherapy and examination, the doctors made a surprise for Diana – they allowed her to come back home for several days. Now, the girl enjoys homeliness, care and communication with brother. She will have soon MIBG-scan and then specialists set a date for surgery. Mother sincerely thanks all, who help them in such hard minute.

Diana finished the last chemotherapy block last week. She is waiting now for control medical examination. It should be started earlier, but after bad results of analysis of Computer Tomography, we postponed it. The surgery in Kiev or again chemotherapy – everything will be known in several days.

All the 7 days from June 27 to July 3, our foundation wards had a very cool rest in village Tatariv. The first lucky children were the children from the Ivano-Frankivsk regional center for socio-psychological rehabilitation. "A Small Angel" camp was placed at the Welcoming Yard "Anastasia".

Vasily Midlak – surgery had to be postponed

Preparation for surgery was successful. The child's condition and the lungs problems were stabilized. But, the surgery was not provided because tests showed thin blood and there was a high risk of bleeding. Vasily with his mother was directed to the Lviv Institute of blood research. After tests, Vasily was diagnosed with the new disease - thrombocytopenia.

Pavlo Gumenyak back from Lviv

Due to tests results, Pavlo Gumenyak is getting better. After the consultation in Lviv, the boy has to take hormones for another three months. It is important not to change the dose of treatment for the best effect. Soon doctors will make him an ultrasound of the heart and the thyroid gland. They need to check still is leaking fluid out and decreases its quantity.
