We address your fund with great expectations and hope that you’ll respond to our entreaties and will be able to help our child.

We are the parents of the 12-year old girl named Tanya. We live in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Our daughter was an absolutely healthy child, she grew up, went to school, showed good results in studying and sports. Because of her nice character and polite behavior everybody liked her – friends, neighbors and teachers. But in 2007 it all began: Tanya started feeling bad; she got very pale and flabby. At first we thought she was just tired.

But nevertheless we decided to visit the doctor. The diagnosis stunned us - severe aplastic anemia. Since then our life has changed radically: medicines, numerous visits to the doctors, sleepless nights and hope. In spring 2010 Tanya became feeling worse. In one of the Kyiv clinics they said that our daughter needed urgent bone marrow transplantation. They said that the price of the transplantation was approximately 200 000 hryvnyas (18 395 Euro). With the help of kind people we have already collected 100 000 hryvnyas and continue collecting money. We were sure that our son or maybe one of us will be able to become a donor. But on the 18th of November we got a negative result. None of us can become a donor for our daughter.

There is only one way out left: to perform an operation abroad. We are in despair. We were looking for some clinic in Germany. And such clinics exist but we don’t have enough money. The operation is too expensive for us and we have nothing left to sell to save our little daughter.

Please, help us. We don’t want to lose our child. And she won’t live long without an operation. We are enclosing all the necessary documents and medical diagnosis, so that you were able to get more information about Tanya’s illness.

With great gratitude and respect to your fund Marya and Mykhailo.
