Danylo, like most of our wards, was born healthy. He was very an energetic and joyful boy. He studied very well, played saxophone, enjoyed sports. But in his 9, a severe joint pain began, so heavy that the boy could not walk. After the examination, doctors diagnosed him with juvenile chronic arthritis. Since then, Danylo has started a very serious treatment with the hope of recovery. But in April 2017 his condition was badly deteriorated. After examination by laparoscopy, he was promptly operated and appendicular infiltrate removed (this is a severe inflammation of the appendicitis). But after the operation, severe abdominal pain, constant fever, constant ill-feeling and poor results of the tests caused the boy to have a series of new examinations. So, in September 2017 he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. It is a kind of gastrointestinal tract chronic inflammation, which can disturb a person throughout his/her life.
Danylo was prescribed an expensive and long-term treatment. His mother has been being separated from her husband for 9 years and has two children. Now they are college students. Therefore, there are many expenses besides treatment.
