Date of birth: 20.09.2008. Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia

When she was born, her length was 50 cm and her weight was 3,250 kg. A small girl liked to sleep in a baby carriage very much. Her mother muffled her, and small girl didn`t pay attention neither to rain nor to wind. She learnt to walk and run very quickly. She liked to talk with toys. Then she went to the kindergarten. When she was three, her brother Illia was born.

This year Sofiia had to go to first grade, however, her mother decided to leave her at home for one year. The 20 of September was her Birthday, after it she felt pain in the knee, her temperature was high. Parents were sure, that it was just inflammation of knee, but it appeared to be far worse than they thought. She was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

After several days she felt worse, her elbow and forearm began to hurt. Doctors intimidates, that it needs two years to get her recover. The course of cure includes the chemotherapy and expenses on all medicaments. It is too expensive for the family. Her family does not have such money. Mother would not ask us for help, if she had support of her relatives. Unfortunately, they also do not have an opportunity to help the girl.

Let`s help Sofiia to “stand up”, she has, undoubtedly, foreseeable wonderful future.

Christmas Eve and Epiphany were celebrated for the first time in the “House of an Angel”

For the first time in the history of the Children’s Town, the celebration of the Generous Evening and Epiphany took place. Creative Thursday in Children’s OncoHematology Department

Every time when volunteers of the CF “You are an Angel” visit children in the oncology department, they try to be as original, creative, and interesting as possible for small patients. Art therapist Maria Pazyniuk of the foundation always helps them in this. To make creative classes versatile and unique, to interest the children's audience, the art therapist invited her female students to a traditional Thursday creative class.

Charity Foundation “You are an Angel” and Philip Morris International Company: cooperation continues

The “You are an Angel” charitable foundation and the Philip Morris International company have signed a contract for the second time for the foundation to receive a grant for the development of the “House of an Angel” children's town located in Goshiv in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. We would like to remind you that in March 2022, the CF “You are an Angel” received the first tranche of funds in the amount of USD 76,000, which were allocated by the Philip Morris company as part of the charitable corporate project “Projects with a heart”.
