Date of birth: 25.12.1997. Diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis, severe course

Ivan was rarely ill to the age of sixteen. The problems began from headache, then stomachache. The diseases of stomach – gastritis and biliary dyskinesia were discovered after the examination in Ivano-Frankivsk Hospital. Special treatment was prescribed to the boy. However, the child suffered from pain, and the doctors recognized a serious disease of intestine.

Parents decided to consult in Kyiv, for doctor`s advice. At first, the problem seemed to be not so serious. Doctors said in Kyiv, that he would recover quickly. But, after the colonoscopy and biopsy, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, total, severe course.

Nine months of treatment did not help to achieve expected results. Now Ivan needs consultation and examination abroad. For this need we should have 5 000 EUR. Moreover, there is a need for expensive medicine.

Ivan is the eldest son in family. Besides him, parents bring up three children. As the eldest son, he is always a good support and reliable helper of parents. He likes to read a lot, is interested in 3D Graphics. This year he finishes Halych gymnasia. He dreams to enter the university and wants to study at the faculty of psychology to help people come through difficult situations. But now he is in a difficult situation, because of the disease, that stands in the way of dreams and plans. His parents will not cope without help of kind people.

Christmas Eve and Epiphany were celebrated for the first time in the “House of an Angel”

For the first time in the history of the Children’s Town, the celebration of the Generous Evening and Epiphany took place. Creative Thursday in Children’s OncoHematology Department

Every time when volunteers of the CF “You are an Angel” visit children in the oncology department, they try to be as original, creative, and interesting as possible for small patients. Art therapist Maria Pazyniuk of the foundation always helps them in this. To make creative classes versatile and unique, to interest the children's audience, the art therapist invited her female students to a traditional Thursday creative class.

Charity Foundation “You are an Angel” and Philip Morris International Company: cooperation continues

The “You are an Angel” charitable foundation and the Philip Morris International company have signed a contract for the second time for the foundation to receive a grant for the development of the “House of an Angel” children's town located in Goshiv in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. We would like to remind you that in March 2022, the CF “You are an Angel” received the first tranche of funds in the amount of USD 76,000, which were allocated by the Philip Morris company as part of the charitable corporate project “Projects with a heart”.
