Date of birth: 10.11.2011 Diagnosed with - Acute myeloid leukemia

A big trouble comes to Konyk family: the son was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. 4-years old Davyd began to complain about a bad state of health and the family immediately decided to take actions to fully examined the child in the hospital. It seemed to be a simple cold, but the state of the child`s health rapidly worsened. After numerous analysis, the doctors diagnosed leukemia of the 4th stage.

Davyd is taking the course of chemotherapy now, but, unfortunately, the state of his health doesn`t get better. Parents cannot fully understand, that his son has such terrible diagnose. because just yesterday" the child joyfully played in the kindergarten with peers, the boy dreamt of becoming a footballer and today he is at hospital.

The boy stays in the intensive care unit in Ivano-Frankivsk Children`s Hospital. Treatment is hugely expensive and long! Parents are trying to do everything possible, but they will not manage to cope with the son`s disease by themselves. Together we are stronger and able to go through all difficulties, and the main to help the child to fulfill his dream!

Christmas Eve and Epiphany were celebrated for the first time in the “House of an Angel”

Creative Thursday in Children’s OncoHematology Department

Every time when volunteers of the CF “You are an Angel” visit children in the oncology department, they try to be as original, creative, and interesting as possible for small patients. Art therapist Maria Pazyniuk of the foundation always helps them in this. To make creative classes versatile and unique, to interest the children's audience, the art therapist invited her female students to a traditional Thursday creative class.

Charity Foundation “You are an Angel” and Philip Morris International Company: cooperation continues

The “You are an Angel” charitable foundation and the Philip Morris International company have signed a contract for the second time for the foundation to receive a grant for the development of the “House of an Angel” children's town located in Goshiv in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. We would like to remind you that in March 2022, the CF “You are an Angel” received the first tranche of funds in the amount of USD 76,000, which were allocated by the Philip Morris company as part of the charitable corporate project “Projects with a heart”.
