The story of Oleksandr is similar to stories of other 10-years old boys. He is very active and smart pupil of fifth grade at school, he is the leader among his friends, is interested in life stories of adults. But one day he felt pain in his leg. The reason of pain was explained in different ways: he could hurt the leg or physical exhaustion. However, the reason is the tumour under the knee – osteosarcoma of the right shin.

Such diagnose was a real shock not only for the family, but for village commune, near everybody knows Oleksandr and his family in the village. There was no time for thoughts. The boy received treatment in National Cancer Institute in Kyiv. The village commune gathered money, but financial resources are already spent. Christmas Eve and Epiphany were celebrated for the first time in the “House of an Angel”

For the first time in the history of the Children’s Town, the celebration of the Generous Evening and Epiphany took place. These events were accompanied by the best family traditions of the Ukrainian people. Creative Thursday in Children’s OncoHematology Department

Every time when volunteers of the CF “You are an Angel” visit children in the oncology department, they try to be as original, creative, and interesting as possible for small patients. Art therapist Maria Pazyniuk of the foundation always helps them in this. To make creative classes versatile and unique, to interest the children's audience, the art therapist invited her female students to a traditional Thursday creative class.

Charity Foundation “You are an Angel” and Philip Morris International Company: cooperation continues

The “You are an Angel” charitable foundation and the Philip Morris International company have signed a contract for the second time for the foundation to receive a grant for the development of the “House of an Angel” children's town located in Goshiv in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. We would like to remind you that in March 2022, the CF “You are an Angel” received the first tranche of funds in the amount of USD 76,000, which were allocated by the Philip Morris company as part of the charitable corporate project “Projects with a heart”.
