Date of Birth July 12, 2008. Diagnosis - Neuroblastoma
Shpakovich family, mother, father, son and daughter, lived a happy life. Two kids were a big joy for their parents; they were healthy and cheerful. Unfortunately, April 8, 2010, the father died in a car accident, and the mom remained alone with the kids.
In November, four-year old Diana started coughing. First it looked like virus, but the cough did not go away and Diana’s mom took Diana to the hospital where they learned that the girl has a tumor on her liver. This diagnosis was confirmed in Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s Hospital and in Kiev, and Diana had to begin the treatment immediately to survive. Unfortunately, the treatment is expensive. Diana’s mom is not working. She is living on the pension that she is receiving because of her husband’s death, and it is only 1300 UAH.
Diana needs money for her treatment, and her mom does not know where to get it. The girl needs chemotherapy, the surgery in Kiev, and more chemotherapy. The charitable foundation is asking everybody to help little Diana. Together we can give her a chance to recover and have a carefree childhood.

Every time when volunteers of the CF “You are an Angel” visit children in the oncology department, they try to be as original, creative, and interesting as possible for small patients. Art therapist Maria Pazyniuk of the foundation always helps them in this.
