“Just one week ago I was a happy mother because I had my kids, and then unexpectedly, the misfortune came. My little son Vlad was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. I am willing to give my life, but unfortunately with that I cannot save my child’s life,” that is how Vlad’s mom began the conversation with us.
Vira is a modest woman, and she is raising alone two children. As Vlad began the treatment, Vira understands that she cannot afford the treatment without other people’s help, and that is why she is turning to all of us to help her on this uneasy path to save her son.
The treatment began, the protocols are made, and the consultations with doctors are in the past. Ahead are long chemotherapy sessions and hope in God and in all of us!
