Date of Birth August 2, 2002. Diagnosis - Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

 

 
Every August Kovalski family celebrates Nazar’s birthday. The boy was healthy and was growing just like everybody else. Nazar did well at school: he is a winner of School Olympiads in Language Arts, Math, and Science. He also participated in City Olympiads and won prizes. Nazar loves sports, chess, hiking in woods and mountains. Nazar’s friends and classmates love him, teachers consider him to be a good role model for others.

 
In January 2013, the misfortune happened. Nazar was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma, and this diagnosis was confirmed in Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s Hospital and in OHMADYT in Kiev.

 
It was a  big shock for everybody, but the family began fighting with the disease immediately. Relying on God’s grace and help and not losing hope, the doctors began to do all they could to fight cancer.

 
Nazar bravely endures all the procedures: surgeries, tests, chemotherapy. He is doing it for the sake of life and his child’s dreams. Nazar knows that the treatment is long, but he and his family hope for the recovery.

 
Nazar’s parents, all his family and our foundation is turning to everybody who cares about Nazar’s destiny with a plea to help Nazar in the long term treatment to give the boy the possibility to play, to attend school, to be with friends. Back home, grandparents and the younger brother Ostap are waiting for Nazar, praying for him and for all kind people..
