Date of Birth: October 23, 1998. Diagnosis - Hodgkin's Lymphoma

 

 

At the end of February 2013, bad times came to Kunichak family. They noticed that their 15-year old daughter Maria’s lymph nodes got bigger. At first everybody thought that it was a common cold, but unfortunately it was not the case, and the girl was diagnosed with fourth degree Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
 

Maria was never sick before. At summer she helped a lot with chores around the house and in the yard. Together with her younger sister she was herding cows. Recently, Maria participated in track and field competition, and she took third place. At the beginning of February she did not feel anything bad and she went to dance parties with her friends.
 

And now Maria in on the hospital bad, she is sad and helpless, and she keeps asking what her diagnosis is. At the beginning of the treatment, Maria was afraid that she would miss classes at school and she worried that she would lose her hair. Now we have a feeling that she is indifferent to everything: she does not talk and does not eat, and she lost 5 kg.
 

The family does not have enough money. Maria’s mother does not work, and Maria’s father does not make much. The family has been saving for a house, and now they spent the money on their daughter’s treatment, and they do not have enough for such long and expensive treatment. On top of that grandmother and grandfather have been sick for a long time and the family has two other children.
 

Maria’s family and relatives with the tears in their eyes and the pain in their hearts are turning to everybody who can help financially or with good advice, or kind word in such big misfortune that happened to them. Please do not let Maria, this young flower to fade away so young.
