Orphans with cerebral palsy need rehabilitation (COMPLETED)

Enjoy every movement of your body, feel a tense of gently movement of musician’s hands, fell an confidently of pilgrim stepping… Have you ever reflected about it? Probably, no. This is a dream of people, who are not able to feel it personally: in particular, people suffering from cerebral palsy. That’s why CF "You are an Angel" call you on the all the orphans with cerebral palsy, and parents of children with the same diagnosis, who will undergo medical procedures in Dolyna orphanage "Warm house".
Our goal is to launch a Cabinet for hydro procedures. We have to purchase a bath-tub, which costs 39 405 UAH. For a rather long term, the group for rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy has been working at Dolyna orphanage "Warm house". Cerebral palsy does not progress, it means it appears with the child's birth and exists throughout life. Motor dysfunctions, usually, are manifested as weakness in a particular muscle group, causing impaired gait, a motion of hands or, for example, tilts the neck. It is worth noting that cerebral palsy to be treated at the time of formation of pathology. One of the most important methods is a physical rehabilitation.
This institution for rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy is the only one in the region. That’s why orphanage administration has the intention to open the rehabilitation group, not only for orphans but also for those who are cared by their parents. Therefore, to improve the treatment, it is necessary to purchase the bath-tub, which costs too much for institution financed from the budget.
Now it is important not to lose precious time, because high-quality, professional and permanent treatment will be able to reduce the negative effects of disease to a minimum. Of course, we are not able to cure this disease, but to deal with it is in our power. Therefore, we need Your help to purchase a bath-tub, which will not only bring much fun to kids with violation of the musculoskeletal system, but also help to confidently walk toward their dream – to become firmly on his feet, take the first confident steps and to induce positive emotions on the face of their teachers, guardians or parents.

Every time when volunteers of the CF “You are an Angel” visit children in the oncology department, they try to be as original, creative, and interesting as possible for small patients. Art therapist Maria Pazyniuk of the foundation always helps them in this.
