All of us understand how important it is to be able to speak at least one foreign language, to be exact English that is widely used all over the world. English is a key to a successful future, a chance for a person to live a fulfilled life. Our project's goal is to give a change to learn English to the children who remained without parents, to the orphans from orphanages and shelters. We will do our best to make sure that these children learn English.

All parents dream about their children's successful and worry free future. From the early age we teach our children to love books and to accumulate knowledge, and we open the mysteries of the world to them. We sign up our children for lessons or hire tutors to teach them a foreign language; we buy colorful books, tapes, and other resources that allow them to learn a language in an easy and interesting way.

Though UN Convention guarantees to all the children the right to quality education, many of the children do not have access to good education. This is true about the children who live in orphanages and shelters. Old textbooks and low quality study materials cannot keep the children interested in learning English, and that is why we have such poor results in learning the language. Most of the children do not have parents who can pay for their classes, hire a tutor, guide them, or simply give them an advice. The future of these children depends on the nannies from the orphanage, on the teachers, and on the volunteers.

We fully understand all the difficulties as we begin working on our project "I speak English" in three institutions. All the money that we raise for the project will be spent to purchase textbooks and study guides for English language classes and to encourage the children to sign up for the classes. We will buy textbooks, dictionaries, grammar reference books, posters, etc.

It is impossible to buy or take away the knowledge. Imagine that in ten years a person from the orphanage will have a chance for a better future because he or she can speak English. Then they will remember this project and all the people who made a contribution to it. Do not forget, the success of the children who do not have parents depends on you and me.
