Right before the holiday of St. Nick and New Year, we always have a desire to do more good. For a very long time, we planned to visit an orphanage in Nadvirna, 30 km from Ivano-Frankivsk, and we were determined to do it now.
We were not empty-handed. The whole trunk of our car was filled with packages of clothes and toys that the employees of international accounting firm KPMG collected for the kids, and we are very grateful to them. Especially we thank Julia Nogovitsina that organized the transportation of all the goods from Kiev to Ivano-Frankivsk.
We were not able to meet with the principal of the orphanage because it was late and only baby-sitters were there, but we were not upset. Now there will be another reason to visit the orphanage in the future.
We had another miracle! Our old friend from Lviv, Leonid Markovich, paid for a dentist visit for a boy who is under a tutelage of our foundation. We thank again and again this wonderful and kind person who is always looking for ways to help orphans. Leonid Markovich always helps us to organize children’s trips. Thank you!
And that is not all! We received a box with gifts for Ukrainian children from the United States. Yaroslava Dubenka, a friend of our foundation who lives in Chicago and represents our foundation in Illinois send us these gifts. Thank you!
Currently, our foundation is getting ready to celebrate St, Nick’s day. The first event will take place on Monday, December 19. We have already paid for most of the gifts. On Monday, St. Nick will bring gifts to the children with physical disabilities to Vygoda Reabilitation Center and Dolyna Orphanage “Teply Dim”. On Wednesday, St Nick will visit kids at the departments of surgery and hematology in Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Hospital.

Evelyna Gladiy
Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
