"With Christmas at Heart" (Video)

Volunteers of our foundation organized one more charitable event.  They were selling Christmas ornaments. It was an idea of our art-therapist Ania Maximchiuk. For the last two months, together with the students who major in education she helped the children at the department of hematology to make the ornaments.
 
 
 
The charitable fair “With Christmas at Heart” took place in the building of the Teachers’ College. We were selling snowflakes, snowmen, and angels. The highlight of the event was Olia, a first grader dressed as an angel that was offering to the participants the fliers with Christmas wishes.
 
 
 
The event was a huge success. The students were buying the Christmas ornaments and were generously donating to the good cause. The volunteers were able to raise almost 5,000UAH ($625). 4,713UAH  will be used for the children that are undergoing treatment  at the department of hematology, and for the remainder the students bought fruits and will bring them to the children when they are going to visit them at hospital.
