The children visited Biological and Historical Museums and castles, they saw works of art and toured  the most beautiful parts of Lviv: the plaza next to the Opera Theather, Rynok Square, Armenian and Russian Streets.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary impressed kids most of all. Right there the kids saw a monument to a mute artist. He could not talk because his mother was mute and could not teach him to talk. It is a common believe that if a boy rubs his nose next to the monument and make a wish, his wish will come true; and if a girl sit on the monument’s lap she will marry soon.

The children from the rehabilitation center need attention and support. During the trip the children had fun and at the same time learned a lot. With great excitement they were expressing their gratitude to the teachers and telling them the most interesting moments of the trip. Seeing that makes us want to come up with new ideas of enrichment in the future and realize them.

When the children talk about the beauty and historical value of Lviv and share their emotions, they connect with each other. The cultural heritage of Lviv inspired the children. Hopefully it is the beginning of exploring the most beautiful cities of the world and the stimulus to spiritual learning and growth.
