It was very crowd and noisy in the Children's Town “House of an Angel” this Saturday. Volunteers from the Charitable Foundation “You are an Angel” gathered here in the morning to clear the area from bushes, thickets of wild blackberries, household waste and other waste left on the site after its cleaning, installation of electric poles and drilling a water well. Sunny and warm weather contributed to these works. Everyone worked – both adults and children. Every hour we watched our site change as it became tidier and more attractive. This made all the participants of the collective Saturday work very happy, because everyone saw the result of their hard and selfless work. 

Volunteers combined their work with recreation. Fresh air, light breeze, sun rays lifted the mood and gave good emotions. Everyone rejoiced and enjoyed the positive energy of this place. After a delicious picnic and hot tea, all persons concerned visited the area of the excavations of the monastery, which in ancient times functioned here (1570). The place of archeological research is located a few meters from the town of “House of an Angel” and has great tourist potential.

 

A little tired, but in high spirits, the foundation's volunteers left the town, but promised each other to come back here again to continue the work. Now we are waiting for favorable, warm weather and we expect even more representatives of our volunteer family in the town.

 

Let us remind you, that the start of construction work is scheduled for the third decade of February 2021. “House of an Angel” is 270 square meters of comfort in the mountains, in an environmentally friendly region. Up to 25 children will be able to stay here at the same time. Our guests will be orphans, teenagers from crisis families and street children. Children who have won oncology, and/or suffer from cardiovascular diseases and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. To begin with, we will take them on weekends, vacations, we will organize winter and summer camps. We want to introduce many rehabilitation services, including hippo therapy, canine therapy, apitherapy, art and game programs; we will involve psychologists, experienced coaches and teachers.
