Volodymyr Oliinyk has already finished the second block of chemotherapy. It passed not easily and lasted five days. The boy was all this time on the bad. The temperature had been drastically changing everytime - from 34,2°C to 39,5°C. His heart was beating 42 beats per minute and began beating faster - 120 beats per minute. Then nausea, stomatitis, pneumonia and pain in bones. However, Volodia didn`t have a thought to lay down arms, even in most critical moments. He said, that he would not give chances for the disease! 

 

Volodia celebrated New Year and Christmas in hospital, he learned new Christmas carol and new english words, changed his hair style, read books with fairy-tales, he also learned how to make different things from building set for children. He tried not to waste time in hospital, but to improve his knowledge in order to continue schooling together with school-group next year.

The reaction of tumor on chemotherapy will be evaluated soon. We hope, that the result will be good for the boy. Then - the examination in Kyiv. The doctors` decision to do surgery or to prescribe chemotherapy with using stem cells will play a big role in further treatment, because the second procedure can be done in Kyiv or abroad.
