Vitaly Krasheninnikova after 3 chemotherapy and radiation courses was allowed to go home. Boy has finished his basic treatment. It was very pleased for everybody. He could have a rest from the painful tests, punctures, anesthesia and chemotherapy. He felt comfortable at home, was on the mend and played with his sister and all family was going to celebrate his second year of life.

 

But, before the birthday eve, Vitaly started having trouble breathing, eating, sleeping, and his analysis worsened. Child was hospitalized again. After medical examination and x-rays testing doctors were amazed because his lungs were full of water. Boy was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit, he got puncture, other tests were sent to National Children Hospital (Ohmatdyt). His mother mostly feared to listen the boy has recurrence of the illness. It happened on the day of his birthday - September 19. Probably, this recurrence was caused by too aggressive lymphoma, and it back again after chemotherapy injection finishing.

 

Today, Vitaly begins much more difficult treatment. He has to take 2 blocks of anti- recurrence chemotherapy. After that doctors recommend him to do bone marrow transplantation, otherwise - long expensive treatment again.
