Recently, Arina Zhurakovska finished baths with mentol. Aften them Arina is sleeping better, and she is more calm. Arina is also happy because she could go to pick mushrooms in the woods. Outdoor trips have a lot of positive impact because the girl appreciates the beauty of the nature.
Arina alternates baths with mentol and baths with pine extract and sea salt. At home Arina wraps her right arm and leg with vosk. Her mom warms the vosk with propolis, paraffin and honey and pours it to a piece of plastic to cool down. After that she applies it to Arina’s right arm and leg and wraps it with a towel. This procedure improves circulation and softens the muscles.
Every day Arina is doing exercises to improve her fine motor skills, coordination, and balance. Arina began riding her bike by herself. She could not do it before without somebody’s help. She walks up and down the stairs, and that is an excellent exercise for her legs.
Arina is learning to eat with her right hand. It is still very hard for her, her movements are not coordinated well enough, and she is getting tired fast, but the girl has a great desire to master this skill.
Next year, Arina is going to the first grade, and her mom is working hard on getting hear ready for school. Arina already knows all the letters. She has a board with magnet letters and she is putting some words together. Arina can count up to one hundred, and she can add and subtract. On top of that Arina is learning English. She can count up to 10, she knows the names of the colors and animals. She can ask “what is your name” and “how are you” and she knows how to answer these questions.
Thanks to your support, Arina will undergo one more rehabilitation session beginning September 24 at the international clinic in Truskavets.

Evelyna Gladiy
Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
