New Playground at Children’s Shelter

Ivano-Frankivsk Children’s shelter has been reorganized. In addition to the renovations, the shelter changed its name. Now it is called the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation.
 
We notified you before that the installation of the playground that was a part of the project “What if grey is not color, but a state of mind” was delayed. But now we are happy to say that the children will have a place to play because the playground is finally installed. The cost of this bright and comfortable playground is 42,162UAH ($5270). It is right in the middle of the court and very soon the children will have an opportunity to play there.
 
Swing sets, slides, and many other elements will be ready for kids when they return to the shelter from other places where they temporarily stay during the renovations. We thank “Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace” for helping us to buy and to install the playground.
 
 
At present, the Center needs financial aid. We need to buy cabinets, desks, chairs, mattresses, and many other pieces of furniture. The children need to live in good conditions, and we are asking you to help us to buy quality furniture for them.
