Masterclass from making pysankas held in the department of Oncohematology

It is very hard to find a person nowadays, who doesn`t hear about pysanka. During centuries a custom of egg drawing turned into wonderful national art. The secret is, that you don`t need to be a great artists to create pysankas, the main is – to do it with pleasure from your heart.
 
So, we decided before to remind our patients of the Oncohematology Department about colourful pysankas before the Easter holiday. Specially for that lesson, Mariia Pazyniuk took dozen of wooden eggs. We began our lesson having paints, brushes and good mood.
 
 
Time, spent near great people around and with work, that brings pleasure, flew with very high speed. We drew pysankas together with children not only for us, but also for those, who were in wards and could not be with us. We laughed, joked and gave gifts. Our friends from Germany, Max and Svitlana, visited our art-therapy lesson, they treated children to sweet chocolate eggs, and then shared their impression from masterclass.
 
“We joined the event, that was organized by CF “Ty Anhel” the first time and had only positive emotions. Wonderful atmosphere was created by volunteers, who organized such lesson with creativeness, where every child could show its artistic skills and abilities, and tried to make pysankas. In addition, there were many jokes, interesting talks and it was a good time. I think, that such lessons should be held more often and I advise every, who has time and wish to join art-therapy lessons. Smiles on the children’s` faces are the greatest gift” – said Svitlana.
 
From old times, pysanka appears to be a symbol of hoping for new happiness, wealth, strength and health. Art of making pysankas goes from the heart, from the soul. If you take pysanka, you change inside yourself for better.
