Our art-therapy classes in the Oncohematology Department in Ivano-Frankivsk has already been renewed after a small break. Not only we, but also our small friends from the Department were very happy. This day, our volunteers together with children dreamt, imagined and created pretty wonders on the papers.

The participants of art-therapy classes go through serious and difficult treatment, which usually lasts 10-12 months. Children become hostages of the hospital for some period of time. Every day they have many procedures, painful injections, and they need to take a handful of tablets. An Art-therapy class is a good idea to make children relaxed for a bit and forget about daily treatment. Time to be cheerful and funny.

The art therapist of CF “Ty Anhel” Mariia Pazyniuk together with children painted the house of the dream. That creative process lasted more than two hours.

“I always wonder how reach is children fantasy. It doesn`t have limits or borders. Could even an adult person paint a watermelon tree or turned the house or garage upside down? When I kept an eye how they painted their houses of the dream, I dreamt only about one thing – to see them healthy. I`m absolutely sure that it will be so!” – Tetiana Ugrak, the manager of charitable projects in CF “Ty Anhel”, shared her thought.
