It has been six month since Michael began fighting immune - deficient condition and Hepatitis B. The treatment is proceeding well, but at the fifth month the doctors had to cancel some medications. For a while Ursodeoxycholic acid and Thiotriazolin  will substitute  Pegintron, and the treatment will be longer than originally planned. Michael is not disappointed; he hopes to get well soon, and his family believes in the doctors’ professionalism and your help.

We would like to remind you that Michael Klapchiuk is a third grader. He would love to go to school, but the first two years he was homeschooled. Now when the weather allows and he is not in hospital, he gladly attends  two or three classes. The teachers are happy with him, and he is happy with the school. The boy knows a lot about the history of Ukraine and other countries. He likes geography, and he always chooses a book or maps as a gift. While in hospital, Michael learned how to use computer and navigate internet. He makes friends with everybody in hospital and he worries when somebody is not feeling well. He never says about himself that he is sick, and he does not like when people talk about his health condition.
