St Nicolas in Rogatyn

St Nicholas remembers about the orphaned children from Rogatyn from the boarding school. Our young friends happily greeted the special guest and each and every one of them had an opportunity to recite a poem prepared for the saint. 
 
St Nicholas was generous this year, and he had a huge variety of gifts: boxes of candy, toys, and school supplies. The children liked the Christmas tree and everybody was happy. 
 
 
 
A surprise  that we prepared to our young friends was the Christina Yazuk, a famous Carpathian singer, who touched the kids’  hearts with her sweet sounding voice. 
 
 
 
A special thanks to our volunteer Zoriana Gotra that organized the event. Many thanks to Rostislav Andrusiv who organized the transportation to Rogatyn and bought fruits and sweet treats for the children. 
 
 
The school principal said that St Nicholas’ soul is in every man who does good. Do not stop doing good deeds, do not be indifferent to one another, and find a little bit of St Nicholas in your heart!
