Sergiy has spent the Easter holidays. His family and, numerous guests, who had visited Sergiy’s home, gave him strength and optimism.

 

In March, the boy got another fracture. This time, his little hands suffered, both of them were in a cast. Now, his bones are healed and he feels good. These days his mother has a phone call from the treating doctor of the Kharkiv hospital, where the boy would get a surgery. The surgery is scheduled on May 28, the boy's relatives decided to leave a few days earlier, to complete all the necessary tests with no rush to prepare the child for the complex operations.

 

Thanks to your support, we collected the necessary sum, for special structure payment, which will be mounted in the legs of the boy. This operation is the first step to disease overcoming, which makes Sergiy’s life defective.

 

 

Let’s remind you, Sergiy the bone disease - osteogenesis. Imperfect osteogenesis is a case of bones breaking down in an even place. For his 9 years, Sergiy suffered over 50 fractures. For the last two years, Sergiy has been being got treatment courses at the Prof.M. I. Sitenko Spine Pathology Institute. Doctors just gave the hope that the boy would boldly stand on his legs and fractures would be less.
