Smart weekend: our wards made a trip to the capital of Ukraine

Charitable Foundation "Ty-Angel (You are an Angel)", together with its wards from the InterRegional Center for Social-Psychological Rehabilitation of Children in the village Medynia of the Halych district, has spent last weekend in the capital of Ukraine - in Kiev. This day was sunny, fun and full of emotions. Most of the children for the first time drove so far away from their homes, they were curious to travel by train.
 
 
Our tour of the capital began with breakfast at McDonald's. Then we went  for an excursion to the Roshen Chocolate Factory. There, the children walked in the excursion of a modern factory, each one was able to try himself as the creator of a chocolate product. Children independently created a mock box, where they carefully put chocolate products. Everyone made a gift to the person closest to him - a sister, a brother, a teacher ... 
 
 
 
 
Before the dinner, we had a tour of the Kiev Zoo. Many exotic animals have won the attention of children. After a delicious lunch at the restaurant "Two Goose" we went to the holy place of the Ukrainian people - the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. We have visited the caves with relics of saints and prayed in the holy temple. From Laura, our tour moved to the Holodomor Victim Memorial. Here, the children learned many interesting facts, made a candle, which they promised to light in their window on November 25 - on the Day of the victims of the Holodomor.
 
 
 
 
After a lunch in the restaurant "L'Kafa" went around the central streets of Kiev, walked through Khreshchatyk, visited the Government quarter, and even drove in the subway, which also gave unrestrained joy to the children left behind by parental care.
 
 
The team of the "Ty-Angel (You are an Angel)" Charitable Foundation thanks everyone who participated in organizing this tour and contributed to its carrying out. Summer holidays are ending and it is very important for each child to start a new school year with a good mood, a smile on the face and new forces, as well as pleasant memories of the experienced summer.
