Mykhailo Petrus begins the second phase of protocol

Mykhailo Petrus begins to take the second phase of first chemotherapy protocol. He had to take it earlier, but it was postponed, because of a low level of analysis and severe stomatitis. The boy had a running nose, cough and high temperature. An inflammatory complication near catheter caused many problems. When it was taken away and the doctors put venflon, the child squeaked from the pain in veins, so the catheter was put again.

 

When the level of analysis was the norm, the second phase of treatment has begun. It is hard for him to take it and he every time asks the mother, when they will go home. The child should have a rest and needs financial support.  

 
 
Let`s remind, Mykhailo was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. Though there is still a long way of treatment, Mykhailo doesn`t lose courage. He is always very happy to meet his brother Matvii, when doctors leave him back home for several days. He is glad, that again can see friends and relatives.
