Iryna Dovgomelia: kidney transplant is postponed

We have not very comforting news from our little Irynka Dovgomelia. According to the girl's mother, isolation restrictions made them impossible to go to Belarus for another examination and a planned kidney transplant operation. They did not receive new recommendations for further treatment.
 
To date, the tests and the girl's condition have deteriorated. The child has nausea and a severe headache. Constant treatment and pain irritate Irynka. Parents try their best to stabilize their child's condition. It is gratifying that Iryna's kidney still has a resource and this makes it possible to leave without dialysis. Nevertheless, constant fear overwhelms parents. They worry a lot that the surgery will have to be postponed.
 
The girl's parents are grateful to everyone for their financial and prayerful support and ask for further help.
 
Now is a difficult time for all of us, but despite the difficulties that isolation throws at us, the team of the Charitable Foundation "You are an Angel" continues to help children fight complex diseases. All her efforts are to combat a complex disease – multicystosis of both kidneys, which causes anemia, hyperparoterosis (excess calcium), excess phosphorus in her body. Only a kidney transplant can save a child. Belarusian specialists are ready to undertake the operation, and the search for a donor is underway. Until the transplant is performed, the child must receive maintenance therapy of UAH 11-12 000 per month.
