The charitable foundation “Podari Zhisn” from Moscow organized an unforgettable four-day event for the children who survived cancer. It was a wonderful episode in the lives of these people. Children from 12 countries participated at the sports competitions “Games of the Winners”; they exchanged gifts, they shared interesting stories from their lives, they let each other know that the most difficult time of their lives is in the past, and they gave hope to those who are still battling cancer.

Our team of cancer survivors earned 11 medals, among them 4 bronze, 6 silver, and 1gold. Our team has achieved excellent results.

Diana Krashevska and Volodimir Yakushko had excellent results in track and field and shooting, Oxana Diakiv won in chess and soccer. Svitlana Piguliak from Verhovyna region participated in track and field, soccer, and shooting, and because of her efforts our team won second place.

The competitions took place in Gorky Park and all the participants were happy to participate and receive awards. Many children from different corners of the world were able to overcome psychological barriers. In order to move forward, the children need to understand that they are not lonely and their contributions matter for the future of their countries.

During the entertainment program, the children had great fun and gained useful experience. During concert performances of such stars as DG Arbyeniny, Yuriy Shevchuk, groups "Ranetki", "Bravo," Natalie and Arthur Smol'yaninov, it was nice to forget the uneasy past and enjoy the atmosphere of singing and dancing.

The intense program stimulated positive emotions and brought many smiles to children’s faces.

The team of “Ty Anhel” is grateful to its partner, the international charity “Zaporuka” for organizing the trip for the team from Ivano-Frankivsk and for paying for it.
