As of October 25, we were able to raise 1 928 421 grivnas, which is 75% of the amount needed (the preliminary cost of the treatment is 2 560 000 grivnas ($320 000)

Taras finished the second chemo in Nuremberg. Because Taras was complaining of the pain in his leg and hip,   MRI and blood and urine testing were done. They  showed that the tumor reacted well to the treatment, and it is smaller now. However, almost every evening Taras is saying that he feels pain in his leg, and the doctors cannot explain it..

The second chemo was easier on Taras: he does not have any fever and the tests are good. His appetite is not so good, but in spite of this he eats much better  than during the chemotherapy in Kiev. We are not lazy, and if the weather permits, we go outside where we can play on a elephant shape slide and table soccer. Everything is at our disposition because nobody else comes outside now. We do not get bored. Our friends visit us, and then we can play soccer. Somehow, Taras’ team always wins.

Lately Taras likes to go on a slide. One time he told that when he goes down on a slide he can feel “how the nature breezes. And that was so wonderful!”
