Children from Yabluniv boarding school have performed the pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia

More than 50 boys and girls have performed a one day pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia in Ternopil region on Sunday, 18th of November.
 
“It was the children’s initiative to visit the spiritual center. We couldn’t resist. The pupils of the boarding school not only attended Divine Liturgy, but also taken Holy Confession and Communion. After the prayer, children have visited the spring, where they went through the ceremony of water blessing”, - tell the volunteers of Сharitable Foundation “You are an Angel”.
 
Despite the cold and snowy weather, children were active and curious. During the excursion around Mari Centre, young guests have visited underground temple, house of the Virgin Mary, walked through Via Dolorosa, and saw the “Ukrainian Jerusalem”.
 
 
 
“Boys and girls couldn’t skip any religious object located there - went up the Golgotha stairs and bowed to the empty tomb. But most of all they were excited by the Tower of David. Сhildren went to the top of it and enjoyed the Zarvanytsia from the bird’s view”, - tell the teachers of Yabluniv boarding school. 
 
We want to thank brother Roman for an interesting and educative excursion. 
 
 
 
The trip has ended with the tasty dinner that has recharged the energy of our friends and prompted them to actively share their impressions about the day on the way home.
 
We want to say thanks to the boarding school, especially to the vice-principal Andrii Lyvdar for the support and organization of this trip. Many thanks to our faithful volunteer from Russia Mariia Biliaeva for the financial help and strong support in organization of the educational project of CF “You are an Angel”.
 
We want to mention that this is not the first trip to Zarvanytsia organized by CF “You are an Angel”. A few weeks ago, children from the regional center of social and psychological rehabilitation and Medynya transregional center have performed a pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia.
