Denis Leonov - treatment continues

Leonov Denis started the second chemotherapy protocol taking. He has already finished the third phase. There are no, thank God, complications: child does not suffer from stomatitis. The boy is starting to gain weight.
 
Very soon the composition of chemistry will be charged. Denis will use Cytosar. And then – Indoxan: this chemotherapy, incidentally, will be final. But this is not the end of the treatment. After that, Dennis will have irradiation. 
 
Mom and son look forward to the completion of all these procedures, because Denis this year would be a first grader. He needs to go to training. We hope that the child will be able to overcome all obstacles, to recover and to forget all of this pain.
 
 
Let’s remind you, that Denis is 5 years old. No one expects such disease. The boy had heating, lymph nodes increasing, so parents thought it was just a cold. After visiting the pediatrician in Kosiv, tests and additional examinations in the regional children's clinical hospital, Denis was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This diagnose was confirmed at "OKHMATDYT" (Kiev) hospital. The child was in very bad condition, so the treatment started in Kiev. Now the boy is at the Oncohematology Department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Hospital.
