Day of Knowledge with a smile

For each of us the first day of school associates with a lot of flowers, white bows, the first teacher, school assembly, and loud laughter in the hallways. We do not even think that somewhere in hospitals sick children cannot be with their friends on that day, they cannot meet their teacher, or hear the first bell, or sit down at their desks...
We cannot even imagine that in this joyous day orphanages and shelters are full with children who do not have a parents who would take them to school, buy them a bouquet of flowers, take them to a store to pick up an agenda, notebooks, pencils, rulers.
Thanks to our sponsors and friends from VAB-bank and Gorenie, volunteers of “Ty Anhel” visited children with cancer and orphans and brought them gifts.
We were a little bit late, but we were able to congratulate the children with the Day of Knowledge. Every child received a package with school supplies, books, and notebooks. All kids were also happy to get candies, cookies, and hot chocolate. We also donated them shoes and chothes.
Volunteers of our foundation visited the department of hematology in Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Hospital, Dolyna orphanage “Teplyy Dim”, and Ivano-Frankivsk shelter.
In the department of hematology, we were able to have an art-therapy class, and the children had an opportunity to try new pencils, watercolors, sketchbooks, and coloring books. Kids, their parents, healthcare workers, and our volunteers were happy.
The team of the charitable foundation “Ty Anhel” is happy to welcome a new member – an employee VAB Bank Natalia, who is taking an active part in organizing and conducting art classes with children with cancer. We are glad that Olesia (VAB Bank), Ludmila (Gorenje) and their coworkers are always ready to help the children with cancer and orphans.
Thank you for being with us!

Evelyna Gladiy
Evelina has almost turned her five yet. The life story of this cute girl started in April 2016. Evelina is an early bird who came in life too early from her mother's tummy. The six-month-old baby of 870 mm weight and 35 cm height frightened the doctors of the maternity hospital. No one knew what would happen to the baby; whether would she cope with this and whether would she be able to live a full life in the future.
