St. Nicholas Day, the patron saint of children

On St. Nocolas Day charitable fund “Ty Angel” is planning to organize a great holiday for children, who are in hospitals and rehabilitation centers: anxious parents of ill children often forget about presents, as well as for those children who have lost their parents, and orphan-friends with their families. They will all be granted by St. Nicolas the Wonderworker with his gaieties and presents! 
 
Probably, there is no such a person on the Earth who would not know that is celebrated on December 19th! This is truly the holiday being edgily awaited year after year by adults and children because this is the holiday of St. Nicolas the Wonderworker! Having awakened this day we are curiously looking beneath the pillow searching for a present. And it does not matter whether it is huge or small. What is important for us is that St. Nicolas has not been unmindful of us!
 
Also, this day is being eagerly awaited children who are in hospitals. Regardless of their condition they write letters to St. Nicolas the Wonderworker. Those children who have lost their parents for either reason and sheltered in orphanages, asylums or boarding schools are looking forward for this holiday. They all want to be caught up in thoughts and dreams and are waiting impatiently for meeting with the Wonderworker. Anxious parents cannot always buy a present for their children since they are always in a hurry for the chemist's, and the father is working ere night to earn for expensive treatment. Merry and open-hearted orphans do also believe that St. Nicolas will not be unmindful of them and visit their house!
 
This year charitable fund “Ty Angel” and St. Nicolas are going to cover two entries – Hematology Unit and Department of Surgery at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Hospital, Dolinski Orphanage, Ivano-Frankivsk Orphan Asylum as well as Vygodsk Correctional Rehabilitation Center. Children wil have a lively evening with St. Nicolas, angels, Christmas tree, puppet show and disco. And the main present is a two-day celebration of a holiday in the mountains in the recreation center “Vysokyi Pereval” situated in Vyshkiv village, Ivano-Frankivsk Region. Lodging and nutrition of children will be covered by owner of the recreation center! We shall do everything for as many children as possible be present in the mountains. Unfortunjately, however, we shall not be able to invite all ill children because of their state of health.
 
More than 350 children believe they will be granted by St. Nicolas! These are not simple children, they are special ones with destiny drastically incompatible with that of the other! All of us want to join and become a wonderworker for a child in need. Even your tiny contribution into a present will leave fadeless memories of childhood!
