Day of Kindness

Recently, in the department of hematology we have conducted an art therapy class. We wanted to do it differently this time and that is why we decided to organize a Day of Kindness. We invited a lot of guests, and each of them had a special mission: gifts, sweets, drawings, and music.
 
 
And now we will give you more details about his day.  Andriy Gryniv, lead singer of the popular Ivano-Frankivsk band “Patronychi” performed the songs from the repertoire of the group. Everybody was singing along: kids, parents, volunteers, and even doctors and nurses. Andriy taught the kids a little bit how to play the guitar. Some kids were holding the guitar in their hands for the first time. 
 
 
Nadia and Nataliya – designers from floral shop “KVITKA-ROOM” surprised the children with beautiful drawings. The children were waiting in line for the ladies to make them various kinds of drawings. Ukrainian national symbols were the most popular.
 
 
And how can that be an event without sweets! Nataliya Nimchiuk was in charge of them.  Marichka Demianyk, a student from Medical School from Ivano-Frankivsk University was making pictures. We also thank our volunteer from Chicago, Yaroslava Dubenko, for providing a lot of gifts for the kids.
 
 
It was a wonderful event. The children are happy and looking forward to the next class.
