The CF “You are an Angel” organized an excursion for children from the Yabluniv Boarding School

Interesting and informative. The pupils of the Yabluniv special boarding school went on a day trip on Saturday, October 5. Autumn weather promoted a great mood and relaxation in the open air. This journey was spiritual and cognitive.
 
The first location was the visit to the Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the Order of St. Basil the Great in Goshiv. Here the children attended the Holy Liturgy, proceeded to confession and Holy Communion. The monks of this holy place had an interesting and informative excursion for the children, and those who wished were able to climb the bell tower where the famous carillon is placed.
 
 
Afterwards, having a delicious lunch at a local pizzeria, the children with our volunteers went to Dovbush Rocks − the rock-cave complex that is a unique monument of history and nature. “In spite of the journey started at 6 am, the boys and girls duly completed the hiking route, walked the Dovbush trails, and explored the caves and the local area. Our friends returned to Yabluniv a little exhausted and soaked in the rain, but well fed and satisfied. “We arrived at the institution at 10pm. We were really tortured, but happy. Again, there are no words to express gratitude for the incredible impressions. I am glad to have confessed, because it is extremely rare for children, and the rest is everything, as always, perfectly organized" - says the deputy director of the boarding school Andrey Lyvdar.
 
The team of the “You are an Angel” takes great care for the spiritual development and upbringing of children. We organize meetings with the clergy for children, conduct excursions and pilgrimage trips to the shrines of the Carpathian, in particular, Zarvanytsia and Goshiv. Recently, volunteers of the foundation, together with children, visited the Carillon and Bell Art Festival held at the Goshiv Monastery.
