Artem Rerych has finished relatively well the first block of the second chemotherapy protocol. After 10 days the boy had to start the 2 block, but it was canceled because of boy’s runny nose. Antibiotics and drops helped, and in 10 days he started basic treatment. After that stomatitis occurred, although it was not very strong because its treatment had been started on the first stage by special medicines from Germany.

 

 

After the second block, it was the blockage of the subclavian catheter. To reduce the swelling, the boy had to use antibiotics again. To the third block taking, the boy felt better. But when he had begun the third phase chemotherapy - new challenges emerged. On the first day of chemotherapy block the level of white blood cells decreased, on the second day– sight decreased. 5 days of eyes drops - and treatment continued. Then it was swelling again - the blockage of the subclavian catheter. There were 3 days of rest and Artem was taken to the intensive care unit. There with general anesthesia, the boy was introduced the new equipment. Now all is well, the third chemotherapy block finally started.

 

The boy is looking forward to spring, because then he will be able to go to the playground, which is located in the yard of the hospital. Artem likes snowdrops and always gives them to his mother on March 8. He already knows that the day is not far, so today he is busy about where should he get the first flowers of spring.
