Arina Zhurakovska Came Back from Evpatoria

March, 4 to March, 29, Arina Zhurakovska had a treatment at Evpatoria Children’s Sanatorium.  She was prescribed a lot of procedures like massages, baths, physical therapy, magnetic therapy, and others. The results of the treatments are good: the range of the movements increased in Arina’s right ankle joint, and the muscle tone in the right extremities decreased.
 
 
 
 
The orthopedic surgeon who examined Arina noted that Arina’s right leg is 1cm shorter, and her right arm is 2cm shorter, Arina has scoliosis, and some deformities of the left foot. Doctors gave Arina a lot of recommendations for her exercise and footwear. Last month a special pair of orthopedic shoes were ordered for her in Ivano-Frankivsk.
 
 
 
 
During her treatment in Evpatoria, Arina had several swimming classes with a physical therapist. The girl enjoyed feeding chicken, rabbits, and squirrels that live on the territory of the sanatorium, and her mom took her for walks on the beach where Arina could feed seagulls and breeze the refreshing sea air.
 
April 15, Arina is going for a treatment to International Clinic in Truskavets. The invoice for the treatment is 5,877UAH, and our foundation has already paid it. Together with Ukrainian  Philanthropic Marketplace, we were able to raise the money as a part of the project “A dream to move”.
