Do you remember, we had written that Arina had been going to the 12 rehabilitation course? We are glad to inform that she has passed it already at the Truskavets Town Clinical Hospital. Results were very pleased. Tone in the right hand and led significantly decreased. The girl is able to zip-lock zipper on clothing. It’s a regular skill for usual person, who perform it so easy, but for Arina it is a significant step forward in self-support.

 

Terms of self Arina had hippotherapy (horseback riding) at Truskavets, except basic procedures prescribed by her doctor. I’d like to say that this kind of treatment was pleased for her. She loves horses and horse riding. Besides, it was noticeable changes in her health. Muscle and nerve structures, which do not work by disease, recover during horse riding. It is very useful for patients with cerebral palsy mobility, because it develops mobility, sense of balance, improved coordination. Horse body temperature is higher than the temperature of a person to 1,5-2°C. Back muscles of walking animal heat and massage the leg muscles of rider, normalize muscle tone and increase circulation to the extremities. So child, not knowing this, is treated.

 

Girl visited pool. Of course, there were a lot of positive emotions. Arina enjoys swimming, develops and strengths the muscles of the body. Now she backs home. She enjoys summer, but do not forget about the treatment - she needs to consolidate and improve already acquired skills. She likes to ride a bike - it's the main method of rehabilitation at home. We are very happy that the exercises are effective and enjoyable.
